This is a really nice Art Deco style table lamp, with a great stepped base. These can be made in a range of woods and painted finishes, as shown below. It's about getting the details right - carry the Deco theme through to even the table lamps and make it look special. Add the right shades and these look great. The stepped base is pure Deco, with the tall stem echoing a skyscraper. Ht 33cm x w 16 cm2. The lamps are supplied with a lampholder (state if you want a bayonet or screwed type bulb holder) with integral on/off switch, and approx 2.5M of cable (black is supplied as standard, but you can choose white or gold if you let us know when ordering). We do not supply the plug for legal reasons, but they are easy to fit, and generally require a 5A fuse.

Skyscraper style lamp base;

This lamp base is attempt to re-create the Skyscraper style in small scale. While stepped Skyscraper style lamps were produced at the time, most were in ceramic or glass. This one is in stained/painted wood, and was quite tricky to make with all the different faces. Size ht 45 x 13 cm2. Made to order. next time I think we would tweak the top a little.
