This is a new wardrobe design based on an original Paul Frankl cabinet. The original cabinet colour scheme was as the red black robe above right. The circular door plate was not uncommon on better quality Deco furniture designs (the original source of this feature being Oriental furniture), but here Frankl enlarged it & split & offset it to make a more visual impact. The robes above & the design below use different size circular door plates, to show you can play around with this element as well. The simple geometric shape & patterns & colours all make for a stunning design.
There is no need to stick to the original colour scheme of red & black, above left photo shows this in a more contemporary colour scheme of lime green & black. The robes can be made as 2 door or 4 door; you could do 6 doors as well, but odd numbers of doors might unbalance the design (unless built-in, when the side panel can be used to balance the design). The interiors of the robes can be made to whatever you want (ie full height hanging, shelves, double height hanging, etc.). All made to order. If you wanted to use bedroom wardrobes in this style many would like a matching bed headboard, so we've shown a design for one to match, see below.
