This dressing table mirror, designed by Roger Fry and painted by Vanessa Bell, makes a wonderful profile, forming an Omega symbol. The colours, painted black with a dull green and orange abstract pattern, show their interest in African textiles. This is a complicated piece to make, and hence is not cheap. Bespoke made to order, we don't discuss sizes or costs until we've agreed a spec with a customer.

The LH photo shows a detail of the painted frame. The RH photo a detail of the support frame construction. It is actually quite a tricky piece to make, especially the mirror frame itself, as well as the many joints. The photo below shows it sitting on the 'Lilypond' coffee table, to give them both some scale.

A good designer can take the elements of one design and change the format to produce a new piece. Which is what we've shown above. We took the original border design & adapted it to more regular style mirror frame, but keeping the same pattern & colours. We've shown 3 examples of this frame on another webpage.
