Another of Rietveld's well known chair designs, the so called 'Military' chair. Typical Rietveld look with black frame & 'Rietveld joints', very close in design to the Red chair above. These chairs formed part of a dining suite with tables (see tables section). A common touch is the fittings are visible on the back & legs.
