This piece of furniture can be used as a large coffee table or as a TV / music unit; with shelf underneath for dvd player, 2 drawers for dvd's, etc. Either way this is a striking piece of furniture. The idea derived from Rietveld's Elling sideboard, which shows how you can adapt such pieces for new functions. Painted in black, as Rietveld often kept his furniture plain in just 1 colour. We adapted this design recently for a stereo unit for a customer, as shown below.Apologies for the poor photograph as often as soon as a piece is made it goes out the door to the customer, photography in the past was often missed or rushed.

Size L 140 x w 60 x ht 50 cm. As this is made to order it could be any size or colour you like. Stylistically this is similar to a desk & sideboard shown in this section. So if you need ideas we can adapt these pieces to create a new design. We don't discuss pricing until we've agreed the specification with the customer.
