Gothic Grandfather Clock

Painted Gothic 'Tower' grandfather clock in the style of William Burges This wonderful Gothic clock is not based on a Burges piece, but you just know he would have loved it ( it could easily have been one of the towers he designed ). Standing at nearly 7 feet tall, this would dominate any room. It's architectural form is generally in the style of medieval Italian towers, and in particular the Tower in the Piazza Della Signoria, Florence.

It is painted brick red, with painted mortar lines all over, and a painted Gothic 'Rose' face design. All topped off with a brass flag on it's pole. The whole piece possesses great charm. Price to be confirmed.
