This is a beautiful Wm Burges lamp base, in a very decorative Gothic Revival style. The lamp was adapted from a piece of Burges furniture, and is authentic in shape, size & finish. The lamp base is turned, in hardwood, and painted & gilded. It can be left in a new painted / gilded finish, or heavily antiqued as here. The turned details are typical Burges, especially the base & anulet at the top. Supplied with an antique brass lampholder & brass cable (whatever length you want). Needless to say such precise craftmanship comes at a price. Made to order.

The lamp base is shown with a couple of suitable style shades, which are not included. These are just to show you some ideas for completing the lamp.
