A stunningly painted mirror frame packing a visual punch. The frame design was based on a design by the Victorian decorating firm of Heaton, Butler and Bayne, found in a GE Street church. It is unmistakeably Gothic Revival in style. This striking mirror makes a great piece of Gothic wall art. All hand painted and gilded with gold leaf, precision design & painting like this does not come cheap. The mirror is framed in dark brown, the contrast improves it's visual impact. The name at the bottom is really a William Burges style pun - St. Boniface - we all think we are a saint and good looking (bonny face) when regarding ourselves in the mirror!
The main mirror at the top size, inc. frame, is 1175 x 650mm. As these are made to commission, we could make the mirror to whatever size you wanted, as soem of the examples above show how you can change the proportions. We can also supply the frame in a different colour, ie white as shown above, or a wood. Allow 6 - 8 weeks for delivery usually. Made to order. We have shown several different sizes & designs above, & colour variations below for some ideas.
