Make a fantastic Deco impact in any interior with this stunning large bookcase, strongly influenced by Paul Frankl's 'Skyscraper' style of the late 1920's. This has a very strong visual outline, with the stepped shelves & top. Such a piece could be used many ways, from home office to bookcase, display unit, or drinks cabinet. Finishing the edges in a different colour is a detail derived from Frankl, and accentuates the stepped height and shape of the piece. The bookcase can have the back omitted, which you would do for one of 2 reasons. Without a back you can use such a piece as a room divider, say to visually seperate the living area from the dining area. Of where you have the bookcase against a wall it looks visually lighter because it shows the wall colour behind.
The bookcase can have a painted / lacquered finish, or be in a wood of your choice. We have shown a good selection of possible finishes below, from muted Deco colours to bright pastel Deco colours to wood veneers. We could also add doors (either solid or glass doors) randomly placed to interesting effect. As these cabinets are made to order we can change the sizes & proportions to your requirements.

Consideration should always be given to getting large pieces of furniture into your house room - this bookcase would be broken down into sections for transport. We don't give out sizes until we have agreed a spec with a customer.
