This is another wonderful Arts & Crafts oak sideboard. It has a definate Mission style flavour in the low horizontal look. The door panels have been inlaid with darker wood marquetry 'arrows'. The antique bronze finish ironmongery further enhances the look, shown below. The interior was fitted out with shelves. Unusually the doors are bi-fold; this was because the central section was being fitted with a record player, and stereo equipment in the side sections. Hence the long slot cut-out in the back panel for sockets, CAT5 sockets, etc. Concealed LED lights were fitted in the central section, to provide light when changing records.
Although this sideboard was made in Oak it could be made in a range of woods, or even painted finishes, or a combination of the two. The marquetry panels can be changed if required. Made to order. We don't discuss sizes or prices until we've agreed a spec. with a client.

A measure of a quality piece of furniture is how well the ironmongery matches the style of the piece. This sideboard has some great Mission style antique bronze fittings. These are important because you touch the handles every time you open a door, and look at the fittings every day.
