Egyptian bedroom - wardrobes

This webpage shows some very striking design variations we can do with these wardrobes, as they take on the look of interior architecture. The top designs show the inclusion of a dressing table between 2 wardrobes; the table has the typical Egyptian table bar rails. What is so visually interesting about this run is that the middle section, above the dressing table, has been dropped in height, like many Egyptian buildings and gateways. Instead of a dressing table in the middle this would great as a walk through to an en-suite bathroom. The large figure paintings on the doors really make the look, combining traditional style figures and heiroglyphs. The robes can be supplied in any number of odd or even number doors. Shown below are a couple of designs for corner robes, using the same idea with a dressing table in between the robes.

The robes internally can be fitted out any way you want. Handpainting robes like these takes skill and time to get right, being done the same way as thousands of years ago, hence not cheap - you are essentially ordering a bespoke run of wardrobes and a bespoke large scale painting (which just happen to be combined in one piece). The painting can be left clean and contemporary, or distressed to look more antique. Below we've shown just a few ideas for different colour and design variations, but we can decorate this anyway you want and in any colours you want. We don't make the Thebes stools, as they can be bought cheaper than we can make them.Made to order, we don't disclose sizes or prices until we've agreed a spec with a customer.

L shape corner robes:

The above designs show how we can change the layout of the wardrobes to make best use of the space in your bedroom. These L shape corner robes create a very striking design, the larger number of doors creating ever more impact. And we can also add an angled end display unit to one or both ends of a run, this visually softens the furniture and allows for display of artefacts.
