This dramatic small bar is almost kitsch but it's great style sits somewhere between Art Deco and ancient Egypt. It is a perfect sized drinks cabinet to suit any interior and add a design flair to that interior; a definite talking point. This piece has a visually strong shape, influenced by the splayed shape & massing of Pylon buildings and gates from Egypt. The shape is wonderful, part altar part practical piece of furniture, and it's not too large so suited to use in many rooms. The shelves can either be solid or glass. The unit is painted with the winged Goddess as the dominant motif, with heiroglyps surrounding it.
The painting is a typical Egyptian both in form and colours, with the black base colour giving a dramatic look. Overall the piece can be left clean and new, as shown, or distressed to look more antique. We can decorate this anyway you want and in any colours you want. Hand painted pieces like this take time and skill to produce, and the shapes are complicated to make, they are not cheap to do. As this is made bespoke we can change the proportions, within reason, change the designs and colours used. The base cupboard can be fitted with 1 -2 shelves. Made to order, we don't disclose sizes or prices until we've agreed a spec with a customer.
