We know that the Art Deco style was heavily influenced by the Egyptian style, which was all the rage in the 1920's with the recent tomb discoveries, and this spawned it's own sub-style within the Deco movement, Egyptian Revival. Well this vanity and matching wall mirror are a revival of Egyptian Revival style! The crispness of the furniture shapes colour scheme place this firmly in the Deco style. The monolithic overall shape was suggestive of ancient altars and pylons. The winged Godess and heiroglyphs are picked out in yellows and golds, with the wall colour introducing a bit more colour. For it's large visual presence this vanity is still a family sized bathroom vanity.
The vanity can be supplied either with or without a door; even with a door it doesn't offer much storage, other than to hide the plumbing behind. The LH design above is narrower than the other designs, to show we can change the proportions if required. It can be fitted with a range of handles or be on touch opening for a handleless look. You can choose the worktop, from stone to granite, Corian, wood, glass, etc. The sink is shown as as sit-on model, but this could be undermounted for a cleaner look. We have a whole new Egyptian section if you want more ideas. As made to order we don't give out sizes or prices until we've agreed a spec with a customer.
