This is where the Art in Art Deco came from! How do you describe such beautiful pieces - let the picture answer that. Lets start with the shape; pure architecturally shaped furniture, with a stepped top profile, the square boxy shape & inset plinth are typical Deco. This piece is really just a large canvas for the painting, and it is a practical piece of furniture as well. A joy to look at & use everyday, this is a really light & fun piece of Deco furniture. The painting was inspired by an original French piece from the 1930's. Somehow it really captures the feel of a sunny day on the French Riviera, with Cubist detailing in the paintwork.

The robe is shown as a 2 or 3 door version. The main carcase can be either white or a light wood, which best suits the front design. A matching bed headboard is shown below. You can choose your own handles, but the examples above have painted wooden handles which blend them into the painting (other handles would catch the eye, which is not what you want on such a piece. You could have this wardrobe as a freestanding or built-in robe (this would look very striking), with 2, 3 or 4 door versions. The interior can be fitted out as you like. Made to order.
