Art Deco - painted wardrobes
This is where the Art in Art Deco comes from! This is one for the bold, an absolutely
stunning new Art Deco wardrobe. The robes are straight forward to make, they're
really just a large canvas for the painted designs, but what designs. The striking
painting of the Deco women was inspired by the famous Deco era illustrator Erte. Even
their hair and their robes display Skyscraper Cubism. We took a small illustration and
blew the design up large, with a good contrasting background finish to give an
almost Pop Art look to the robes. We've shown a large number of colour and design
variations below to inspire you. This is a practical piece of furniture art, a joy
to look at & use everyday.
The robes shown habove is a 5 door version, but we can do this as in several widths and
design optionsfrom 2 door to 7 or 8 doors. They can be freestanding or built-in as you
prefer, or even as a corner version. Or we'll just design a new version for you.
