Our Art Deco bookcase designs just keep getting better. This is another striking Art Deco design piece of furniture that could be used for several purposes, from bookcase to home office, display or media unit, drinks cabinet, etc. It has a great shape and presence in a room and would definately make a focal point for any interior. The combination of black & golden maple with bright red mouldings makes for a strong visual impact. The Jazz band silhouettes are wonderful, playful & dramatic. The open top shelves give plenty of storage or display space - the shelves could be fixed or adjustable whichever you prefer, or add more shelves. The base section offers plenty of hidden storage, with shelving inside.
We've shown several size options below to show how the proportions can be varied. The clever touch with this bookcase is that the doors only have 3 rails each, which allows the central door panel to form a single design when the doors are closed. The bookcase can have a painted / lacquered finish, or be in a wood of your choice. As these cabinets are made to order we can change the sizes & proportions to your requirements. We could make up a wider run of bookcases or a whole home office in this style if you want.

As this bookcase is made bespoke we can alter the finishes many ways. Shown above the design on the door panels is on a silver finish, which would look very dramatic with the main black colour. Then we can match the plinth and cornice for extra effect. The door panels could be gold leafed, or any colour or wood you want. The main bookcase could be any colour or wood finish you want. This will give you some ideas of what you can have.
At the top we've shown a couple of single bay tall narrow bookcases. They can be a single depth the whole way up, or have a deeper base section. It is unlikely to be economical to make just 1 single bookcase section. These can be combined with wider bookcase sections to make different combinations and for visual interest. For example they can be combined with a 2 door bookcase to make a 3 or 4 door version; the middle section can have a deeper base to create a breakfront for more interest.

We don't give out sizes until we have agreed a spec with a customer.
