Art Deco; Bookcases

Another eye catching very artistic Art Deco bookcase! If you want to make an impact in a room then this is the piece to do it. It combines one of our own bookcase designs, with a Deco era Cubist design of the French Riviera in the height of summer. This would look great in a Miami Beach hotel. We think keeping the bookcase in neutral colours helps the colourful design stand out more - but we have shown several finish options below if you want more colour in the piece. It is first and foremost intended as a piece of striking art in any interior, but is also a piece of practical furniture as well. We've shown quite a few colour schemes you could have below, or we can create it in whatever colours you want.

We also used this Cubist design for some sideboard & vanity units, shown in those sections. We shown 2 options with the boocase - a 2 or 3 door version, which can be used in a variety of ways, from a bookcase to a storage unit, display cabinet, drinks cabinet/bar or home office. The interior can be fitted out as you like, but generally it will just be shelved. The cabinet is straight forward to make, being really just a large canvas for the painting, and it is a practical piece of furniture as well. Although shown as a freestanding bookcase it could be built-in as well. It would be supplied in sections and require some straight forward home assembly. A joy to look at & use everyday.
