These cabinets / sideboards are a direct legacy of Paul Frankl's Scraper style cabinets & bookcases. We've shown version painted black & white (a colour Frankl used little). The stepped top & stepped plinth are what give them the 'Skyscraper' styling. The middle space was left open, to convey a sense of depth, a play on light & shadow & to allow some colour to be introduced to liven the piece up. Shown below are some further eamples showing different colour combinations & proportions. They really offer a wonderful Deco statement & splash of colour. They could also be made with a wood finish. Made to order, so they could be finished in other finishes as well.
The above 2 pictures show you how you can change the proportions of these cabinets, whether wider or taller. As they're made to order it is straight forward to do this. Any of the above designs can be adapted to work as a cupboard, bar, sideboard, drinks cabinet, media unit, etc etc. We can also change the sizes and finishes to whatever you want.
