These bathroom vanity designs draw heavily on Frankl's furniture. They take elements from many of his furniture designs to produce new pieces, but with that unmistakeable Frankl Skyscraper look. The starting point for the vanities on this page was his largest bookcase desk, maybe his most complicated piece, we took the base section and adapted that to a large vanity unit. The x4 stepped base is striking, and the high stepped plinth gives the piece such a crispness of design. The support end carries on the look with the vertical stepped pieces. The top follows the shape of the stepped base - this can be adapted in length as required, within reason. The vanity has the look of a freestanding piece of furniture.

The vanity is shown with a sit-on rectangular sink, which adds to the overall stepped look. It could be made narrower or wider, or made as a double vanity unit. The vanities here are shown as a wood finish with black keylines, but this could be finished as a lacquered painted piece, in any of the usual Frankl colours or in any colours you want. The dimensions of such pieces, as they are made bespoke, can be changed to your preferred sizes. Such a vanity unit is a substantial piece of furniture, and complicated to make and assemble - they are not cheap, least of all to ship. If you are on a budget these probaby aren't for you. We don't disclose dimensions, further details or prices until we've agreed a spec. with a customer.

This version has a different worktop suppport end. We incorporated a dropped down base from a Frankl desk, emphasising that stepped Skyscraper look. The support base can either be a cupboard door or a drawer, as you prefer.

The left hand side of the vanity was inspired by a Frankl desk, and is particularly inventive in capturing that skyscraper look.
