This cabinet is the bottom half of a Frankl bookcase c1926, exactly as he designed it. This was from the early period of his Skyscraper style phase when he was still playing around with the designs. Ie the cubby holes are there, but he would later invariably change these to asymmetric ones. The shaped plinth is another unusual touch that would not re-appear in his pieces. It is a simple functional small cupboard, fitted with a couple of shelves inside. The cupboard was antiqued for the customer, who wanted it to look like it had just been discovered. As these are made to order you can change the proportions, ie wider or taller or shallower, as well as the finish to whatever colour or wood you prefer. We don't give out prices or dimensions until we have agreed the spec. with the customer.
