This is a new range of tables designed to capture the essence of Art Deco styling. These are original designs but definately capture the flavour of Deco - especially Paul Frankl's work. This design creates a wonderful Deco shape, as the multiple stepped shapes & depths echo the Skyscraper outline. The glass top allows you see the architectural shaped bases better. These form part of a range of matching dining, console and coffee tables. There are 2 console table options - the smaller single unit base or the longer double base section.
The base sections are physically substantial for visual impact, but their size can be altered. They have been shown in several colour variations below, from wood versions to all painted versions - these can range from dramatic black to Frankl reds & greens through to Miami pastel colours. We have shown them with a glass top, but this could be clear, etched or back painted glass, or a solid top (in lacquered finish, stone or Corian or wood). They really offer a wonderful Deco statement & splash of colour in an interior. Made to order, so they could be finished in other finishes as well. Bear in mind if this table sits on a carpet it will likely create an impression in the carpet due to the weight of the table. We don't quote for these until we have agreed a specification with a customer.
The above image shows a smaller side table in maple and black finish, with a matching style wall mirror. This would look very striking in any interior, from living or dining room to hall.
The latter 2 designs above introduce further elaboration to the design. As well as the stepped outer profiles new stepped inner panels have been added to emphasise the Skyscraper styling. If painted in a 2nd colour this can add a dramatic look to the piece. The glass top can be the same width as the top or bottom of the base - either works.
