This console table was inspired by a console table by the Joseph Csaky, in Paris 1927. Joseph Csaky was a Hungarian avant-garde artist, sculptor, and graphic artist, best known for his early participation as a sculptor in the Cubist movement. Joseph Csaky was one of the first sculptors in Paris to apply the principles of pictorial Cubism to his art. This console was possibly his only piece of furniture as art.

The console design itself is very simple and clean visually. The focus is wholly on the stunning Cubist front legs, which make a great shape in any interior. We used the basic idea and showed new colour variations you could try, giving it wider appeal in a range of Deco themed interiors, or as a stand alone piece of sculptural art. At some point we'll add a mirror above it, in the same style, and or you could have a mirror or decorative panel between the back legs. Ht 80cm. Made to order; We don't quote for these until we have agreed a specification with a customer.
