A new dining table design based on original table formats having 2 base supports but treated in a new more graphic way. These are original designs but definately capture the look of Art Deco. The support blocks are really a practical backdrop for the striking Abstract Deco designs applied to the faces. This design was inspired a Deco era building grill, with a really interesting Geometric design. The design can be done several ways for different effects. The designs can be applied to both faces of each support, or to just the outside faces. We could design and supply a matching sideboard as well. The base colour of the table supports can be any colour you want, or a wood or metal leaf.

The glass top allows you see the decorative designs unhindered, as they are the focal point of the piece. The base supports are physically substantial to support the heavy glass top, but their size can be altered if need be. The table top itself is quite large, to allow 2 chairs to fit between the base sections, and an overhang for chairs at the ends. But as the supports are not fixed to the top they can be moved in & out as required, which allows for varying chair sizes. They really offer a wonderful Deco statement & splash of colour in any interior.

As these are made bespoke we can potentially use any wood veneers you want, from classic Deco woods to more monochrome veneers for a modern look. It's the contrast of the main veneers that defines the stepped Skyscraper shape. We have shown the table with a glass top, which could be clear, etched or back painted glass, or a solid top (ie stone, marble, etc). Due to the weight, size, and care needed to move a large piece of glass, we see customers sourcing the glass top closer to where they live; we will provide the details for ordering it. This makes shipping the 2 bases relatively straight forward and cost effective. Made bespoke to order, we don't discuss prices until we've agreed a specification with a client.
