Another new original dining table design, classic look definately captures the look of Deco furniture. The table is quite a simple pared down shape relying on the decorative detailing for effect. The over hang on one end has an exagerated stepped back shape to emphasise the Deco look. The substantial base supports continue the Deco look by turning one support 90 degrees for a more asymetric look, and which allows for the top stepped back feature. The base supports continue the stepped back look, and can be emphasised more by picking out the middle step in a different colour/finish, to match the top edge? Many of the pictures show a small overhang on one end, but this overhang can be extended to provide another seating place.

The table top itself is quite large, to allow 2 chairs to fit between the base sections, and an overhang for chairs at the ends. We do not make or supply dining chairs (it's not economical, and other companies supply these) customers will usually choose their own chairs to go with such a table. As made to order the exact table sizes can be changed if required to suit your requirements, keeping the same general look.

We have shown the table with a matching solid top, but we could potentially supply this as clear, etched or back painted glass, or a solid top (ie stone, marble, etc). Due to the weight, size, and care needed to move a large piece of glass or stone, we see customers sourcing these tops closer to where they live; we will provide the details for ordering it. We will normally ship this table broken down into compenent form, for cost effective ease of transport and access to your home. They would require basic assembly at your end, quite straight forward to do. Made bespoke to order, we don't discuss prices until we've agreed a specification with a client.

Althought bespoke work is always more expensive than off the shelf furniture, it's real value lies in tailoring a piece to your exact requirements. Above we've shown a couple of design variations you can consider. The wood version above has the top extended at either end, to provider more of an overhang, to allow for another sitter on the ends. The top is shown with square edges, no step-backs. The lower green lacquered one has changed the shape & size of the table top stepbacks, to allow for more sitter spaace.
