We can offer a full design & supply service for new stained glass designs. In design if you can draw it you can make it. To produce effective new designs you need a good eye, good artistic ability, a good knowledge of the craft & a very good knowledge of Art Nouveau design itself. We can bring all these skills to bear on your new project. The above photos show how a stained glass panel design is built up from initial drawing to the final panels. We avoid refurbishing old stained glass panels - there are good local crafts people better suited to this.

The wardrobe above was designed from the start to have stained glass panels, to set a Nouveau tone for the bedroom. While the oak robe itself is quite plain the stained glass panels really lift to a beautiful piece of furniture. The robe can be fitted with internal lighting, as here, to create soft mood lighting in the bedroom at night. To avoid shadows over the glass the top shelf was omitted & the clothes rail dropped down below the glass height.

The oak cabinet above in somewhere in between Jugendstil & Arts & Crafts, and is generally a beautiful piece of furniture. The clients were undecided about the stained glass pattern & colours to use. So we produced some colour sketches to show them, with 16 design variations to choose from. When you know the style this well you can endlessly vary the designs & colours. We wouldn't normally do anymore than 2, maybe 3 designs; but it does show you how designers can produce new designs.
