This can be used as a table or desk and was inspired by various elements of Wright's designs fused into something new. The boxy unfussy pedestal supports in wood finish would be typical details in his furniture. This was combined with artistic elements from a painted screen by Gene Masselink, Wright's right hand man. We adapted the ideas into a new piece, with a heavy glass top allowing the base to be seen clearly. Whilst we have just shown the painted design on the base outward faces the design could be carried around the whole base for an even more striking look. Or we can take it a step further and have the whole top in a wood finish with the painted geometric shapes, which would be very striking in your room. As this is made to order we can adapt the dimensions some, so we don't discuss prices until we've agreed exactly what you want. Generally we would ask a customer to source the glass top locally, to save on transport cost and the high risk of damage in transit - we can supply the spec. for the glass supplier.
