The source idea for this table and/or desk is obvious; the design idea was first drwn 20 odd years ago
but only now is seeing the light of day. The intention was if this table was plonked down in the Ennis
House today would it look out of place? I think not. While we've shown it with the Ennis blocks, it
could use any of the other textile block house designs and look just as good. There are several ways we
can treat the blocks design on the bases, and we've shown a couple of different size blocks we could
use. Although we've mainly shown the blocks in a grey stone finish they could be finished in a warmer
light golden tone, echoing the blocks as they're seen today.
The boxy unfussy pedestal supports a heavy glass top allowing the base to be seen clearly. Whilst
The base dimensions are govered by the applied 'block' sizes. As made to order don't discuss prices
until we've agreed exactly what you want. Generally we would ask a customer to source the glass top
locally, to save on transport cost and the high risk of damage in transit.
