A feature of much Arts & Crafts furniture, doors, etc., is the use of ornate/elongated starp hinges. While the simple butt hinge was sufficient for most jobs, from Morris onwards hinges were made into more of a feature. Generally they are made up for a particular size for a particular job, so by their nature tend to be one-off small batch made.
