This freestanding 2 door blue painted wardrobe, shows a modern version of the Morris style applied to a wardrobe. This has a more Arts & Crafts style, associated with later Morris furniture. It could have had a roof to give it more of a Red House Medieval look. Morris was first & foremost a decorative artist, so we took the same approach to designing the wardrobe. The door panels can have various decorative Morris designs.
The robe itself is very elegant in a typical Morris blue finish, with antiqued copper handles (made bespoke for this robe). We can design completely new wardrobes in Morris's style, be they freestanding or a run of fitted robes with 2,3 or 4 doors. The interior can be fitted with modern interior fittings - most people prefer the practicality of the fitted interior but realise it is exterior 'Look' that is the important thing. Feel free to contact us to discuss this further. Made to order.
These Morris wardrobe blue versions above, like the green versions, give you lots of ideas for designing a new Morris style wardrobe. They all use various Morris designs in the door panels, to creat some very striking designs.
