As furniture designers we like to mix things up and produce new work based on the original work that inspired it. This is a good example of that, combining the old with the new to arrive at a new piece. This wall hung bathroom vanity unit is totally minimalist in form, far removed from the more traditional looking furnture associated with Bloomsbury. But by applying the Bloomsbury inspired design to this we arrived at a beautiful artistic and practical vanity unit. The inspiration for this vanity artwork was a painted fire surround - flat patterns transfer well on different surfaces. We paired this up with one of our Bloomsbury style wall mirrors, as the circles motif echod on both pieces. The mirror pick up some of the vanity colour, but the 2 could be matched exactly for colours if you want. This would look great in either a traditional or a very modern bathroom. Something beautiful to use every day.

The vanity front can either a hinged door (on a push catch) or a single drawer. It doesn't give you much storage, as it's not big enough to, and it's main function, besides being decorative, is to hide water & waste pipes inside. The worktop could be painted in any of the colours of the main design, but it could also be stone (marble, granite, Quartz, limestone), Corian, glass, wood, etc.. It is made to order, so you can change the sizes / proportions some, within reason keeping the front proportion. We don't discuss sizes or pricing until we've agreed the finished design details with a client.
