This is what happens when you let an artist interpret another artists work, a totally new take on the original to produce a very striking new work. The idea for this corner cupboard was inspired by an original Bloomsbury design. The sweeping curve of the swag in the design just suggested a curved piece of furniture. So this small quadrant corner cabinet was the result (we might try this on a semi-circular vanity as well, which would look equally as good and give you a bigger unit). The end result is an extremely elegant piece of furniture, matched with turned legs. The designs & colours are typical of Bloomsbury style.
The corner cabinet is topped off with a nice black granite worktop, which gives a very crisp look to the whole piece. We could supply it with a limestone worktop, or indeed any colour stone or a painted wood top would be more economical. Internally it is fitted with 1 shelf. We don't give out sizes until we've agreed a specification with a client, as made to order. Bear in mind round cabinets are dearer to produce, plus with the painted design & stone worktop make this an expensive item to produce.
Rather than doing as Omega & Bloomsbury did, in buying up junk furniture & decorating it, we design & produce pieces from new with the designs planned from the start to create unified pieces. The corner cabinet above is shown in a clean new painted finish, but we can antique these pieces to give them an older look if you prefer. As artists it's hard to resist showing other colour options, which might suit your preferred room colour scheme.
