Painted tables

Some new tables designs based on traditional farmhouse tables, offering designs from the plain to the ornate. The construction is quite straightforward, it is the shaped end supports that really visually lift the table designs. The tables can be painted in whatever colour you want, or the top could be a wood finish. The table supports can be made more ornate with painted panels, such as marbling, painted flower panels, reeded panels (typically Swedish in style) as shown below. Within practical limits we can make these tables to whatever size, materials and finishes you want. We don't discuss prices until we've agreed a spec. with a customer. Made to order.

Design variations;

Top left; Design for a fold up/down dining table. Using the same table design, this is a space saving solution, and still suited to smaller appartment living. It could be plain or more ornate. Top right; we made this wall mounted table for the fabric Company Monkwell's large stand at THE trade fair Decorex. The table top was made much larger and in pine finish, to place fabrics and samples on for customers. Bottom left; This was a novel take on the same table design, having the legs wraparound the corners. With a larger top overhang this would make a very large table, but the proportions could also be changed to a round, oval or rectangular top. Bottom right; This was an oak CFA Voysey Arts & Crafts smaller table for 2 people. It is similar in style to the tables shown on this page.
